Bigger is most definitely not better! However your comments regarding efficiency testing were somewhat challenging. I don’t know how much research you have done regarding RFI testing. What I have read is that this type of test has been developed specifically to counteract the negative effect of selecting for high ADG or low FCR’s ie larger animals. You have challenged me to research more and to dig deeper to find out the real value of RFI testing. My challenge to you is to do the same and to write about your conclusions. I think a full blog article on this topic would be very interesting.
