Information We Collect, Why We Collect It, and How Long It is Stored
CONTACT FORM
Our contact form is the primary tool used to request information from us, and can be used to request changes to your information or to stop receiving content (eg. newsletters or catalogs). You can access it at https://pharocattle.com/contact/.
We retain the information submitted via our contact form on our site for 21 days for customer service purposes. We additionally retain information in an off-site database which is required to perform any services requested (such as receiving our catalogs, or our email or print newsletters), and for direct contact with you.
EMAIL SHARING
We do not store any personal information entered via our email sharing forms.
COMMENTS
If you leave a comment on our site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also your IP address and information sent by your browser (eg. user agent string) to help spam detection.
The comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
REGISTERED USERS
If you have an account on this site, eg. as a classifieds ad author or to participate in the PCC Discussion Group, we store the personal information you provide in your user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information. Account information is stored indefinitely.
CLASSIFIED ADS
When you complete a contact form for a classified ad, the information you enter will be sent via email to the owner of the ad, typically an unaffiliated 3rd party.
When you complete the form to submit an ad of your own to us, the information you enter is stored for the duration of your ad and up to 2 years past the ad expiration date as a convenience should you wish to publish the same ad again. You can request we delete your information sooner either in the comments when submitting your ad, or at https://pharocattle.com/contact/ thereafter.
Additionally, if you have a site account to login and publish classified ads as as a classifieds ad author, the previous section on Registered Users applies.
PCC DISCUSSION GROUP
If you post in our private discussion area, your post and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so others can read and comment on your post.
MEDIA
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website. Images uploaded to our site are retained indefinitely, though you can delete them from the media library to remove them if you have an account on our site (if you do not, eg. by listing a classified ad without an author account, you can contact us to request deleting/replacing an image).
COOKIES
Our website uses cookies for various purposes as described in our Cookie Policy. Cookie usage can be managed under Privacy Preferences by enabling or disabling each cookie category. The cookies themselves can be managed in your web browser settings.
ANALYTICS
We use Google Analytics to track and report website usage to help us improve our site and services. Google’s privacy policy is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
You can choose to disable analytics tracking under Privacy Preferences.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
